Jilin Agricultural University Unveils Innovative Digital Admission Letter with Eco-Friendly Anti-Counterfeiting Tech

As the college admission season arrives, university students across China are showcasing their acceptance letters. Last year, Jilin Agricultural University (JLAU) went viral for its "edible" admission letter. This year, the university has introduced another creative innovation.
JLAU has officially launched a digital platform for its admission letters, with the "key" to accessing it hidden directly on the physical letter.
According to the announcement, the back of each admission letter features a unique, natural fungal texture. By scanning this texture via a WeChat mini-program, students can instantly access the digital platform.
This distinctive anti-counterfeiting technology was independently developed by the team of Academician Li Yu from JLAU. The fungal texture is a natural pattern formed during the papermaking process of mycelium fibers. Powered by AI recognition, the technology requires no additional printed markers or embedded chips. Furthermore, the materials are fully recyclable and reusable, representing a green, low-carbon innovation in anti-counterfeiting.
